Announcement
In order to promote exchanges, discussions, and the sharing of experiences among scholars in the field of teaching and learning African languages and cultures, as well as to advance the development of relevant disciplines and the talent education,the International Symposium on African Languages and Cultures Studies 2024 with the theme of “Teaching and Learning African Languages and Cultures: Cross-Perspectives and Disciplinary Complementarities” has been scheduled for March 22-23, 2024. The symposium will be held jointly bytheSchool of African Studies of Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) and the Department Africa and the Indian Ocean ofInstitut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales(INALCO).
Scholars interested in participating in the symposium are kindly requested to send the Attendance Confirmation Form, along with the paper title and abstract in both Word (.doc/.docx) and PDF formats tobfsuinalco2024@163.com(in Chinese and English) orlaurence.pourchez@inalco.fr(in French and English) beforeJanuary 29th, 2024. We extend a sincere invitation to experts and scholars to attend the symposium, sharing and discussing their latest research and ideas.

Venues: Beijing Foreign Studies University (Beijing), Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (Paris); with the option of online participation.
